PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP) is a merger of two biggest chemical producer companies in Indonesia,

PT Tri Polyta Indonesia (TPI) and PT Chandra Asri (CA). Since the merger in 2011, CAP became the biggest Indonesia’s publicly listed petrochemical company. Currently, Barito Pacific Group and SCG Chemical Co., Ltd. (SCG)  a subsidiary of SCG Group, are the main shareholders of CAP

CAP is the only company to operate the international standard Naphtha Cracker in Indonesia. CAP facility is located in Ciwandan, Cilegon, Banten, providing strategic access to CAP’s customers. Due to this strategic area, distribution process to the customers in the same area can be done using 45km planted pipeline.

Technology and supporting facilities are based on the latest technology that can produce 1.330KTA Olefins (Ethylene, Propylene), Py-Gas and Mixed C4; and 816KTA Polyolefins (Polyethylene and Polypropylene). CAP production facilities consist of two trains for Polyethylene products and three trains for Polypropylene products.
